I’m Baaaaaccckkkkk!
In California and it is soo nice to be home. But being home sure doesn’t mean time to chill… got back at 12:30 last night, its 7:44 right now and I’m leaving for SC to shoot in a matter of minutes not hours.
Heres the last Self Portrait from my trip, yesterday at the Salt Flats in Utah. Pretty amazing place. And I can’t help but remember the last time that I drove through there in the middle of the night, A-Rev was PINNED in his big van ranting to me about somthing or other… I was holding onto the “Oh S****!” handle with all I had haha.
Enjoy! And come back soon!

Welcome To…
The middle of America. Its flat. Just like my soda was after I passed out for two hours. California here we come, right back where we started from…

Chicago…
Its Bryceless! If you didn’t get that little joke I feel sorry for you because you don’t know Bryce. But anyways I’m in Chicago and the museums/stadium/aquarium/park area where I took this is sweet, and driving in Chicago sucks.
Enjoy!

I usually don’t
post things within like two minutes of each other, but this one is newsworthy….
below is a url for a place you should go to, so you can get as amped as I am about VitalMTB.com, coming in august… So Sick!

I Miss You,
I’m goin’ back home to the west coast…. So I have started my journey home to California, and I can’t wait to get back! I’m super exited to see everyone that I have not seen in what seems like forever! And at the same time that I am so glad to be out of Turners Falls, I am not so glad to be leaving all the amazing people that I met while I was back there… I’ll miss you all, and lets kick it asap!
In order to spice up my trip a little bit, I will be taking a self portrait every day of the trip and posting it on here whenever I can find internet, hopefully the same day… Here’s yesterdays… Niagra Falls, Canada.

On a side note… theres a couple more from the Open that I did for my friend Katie, katieholden.com
Squirrely
Is the word I would use to describe this lip. Went to go shoot with Smutok and Chase the other day, but unfortunately everything was really soft due to the recent rain. And on top of that, the jump maintenance that went on was a little shady in my book. Lets think about this. The dirt was soft, and the new layer that was put on an existing lip was still too soft after being packed and ridden. This is when everyone starts trying to find a way to make the lip nice and firm, and this was the point when I became quite confused at the methods that were used to solve our little problem. It was decided that a little wooden kicker would be placed in the lip, but no one realized that if packed dirt is too soft, adding 6 inches of new dirt is, in fact, not going to pack down any better. So, instead of having a lip that was getting ridden in slowly but surely, we had a lip that was soft and rutted with a kink where you transitioned from dirt to really steep wood. Weird. Where’s R-Dogg when you need him?
Chase, sidewayzz

So, Its been quiet around here lately…
But thats all going to change! I’ll be headed back to Cali Cali in a little over a week, and will be shooting a ton. Also be on the lookout for more Highland mountain pics as I’m shooting up there with Smutok tomorrow. And now I need to go get ready to second shoot at a wedding, but in the meantime here’s another edit from a shoot I did a while ago with my friend Kaila. Enjoy this image and enjoy the nice summer days!
